Hope Library provides our patrons with entertainment, lifelong learning, internet access, and social engagement, but we can’t do it without your help.
Why does your support matter?
Hope Library is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that is partially funded by the State of RI and the Town of Scituate. We strive to provide the finest library services to our patrons while respecting the tight budget constraints facing every taxpayer. This means we must rely on Association Dues and patron donations to buy the hottest best sellers and to pay for popular programs like summer reading, adult crafts, homeschool classes, Pokemon Club, and storytime for preschoolers and babies.

If you want to help children discover a passion for reading, teens connect with new friends, adults improve their job skills, and seniors bridge the digital divide, please consider becoming a Hope Library Association Member! - Membership starts at just $25 a year for a BASIC MEMBERSHIP which includes an invitation to our festive Annual Meeting in September.
- For $100 you can join our SCHOLARS’ CIRCLE and receive our quarterly Program Guides along with your invitation to Hope Library’s Annual Meeting.
- Entrance to the LITERARY LIONS begins at $250 level. In addition to the previous benefits, members of the Literary Lions are recognized at our Annual Meeting and are given first access to special ticketed events and library celebrations.
- Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated!
